Whats The Word I Am Looking For?

I know that it is illegal to hack someones email accout. But, I can’t help laughing to myself. From what I have heard from the Gov. Palin interviews it is safe to say that she supports the Bush administrations warrentless wiretapping program. Although highly illegal, it will keep me safer, I’m sure. While republicans and media pundits cry unfair, and blame the other side for doing, it I am still laughing at them. What do they expect when they set or support our governments behavior that sets a bad example? Kids these days are way better with technology than the Sarah Palins and the John McCains ever will be. So when the non-luddites out there see the government ignoring the law because it is inconvienient, what do you think they (the kids aka next gen) are going to do? If our president doesn’t have to obey the law (and I am smarter than him - yes, I will bet you that I am) then why should I obey the laws that git in the way of my pursuit of happiness and fulfillment? I am laughing, because of the “do as I say but not as I do” mentality that the conservative base of the republicans has demonstrated for as long as I have been interested enough to understand what is going on in politics. And now their chickens have come home to roost, the cow has bitten them in the ass and they are pissed. They want us to eat their shitty cake, and allow them to listen to our phone calls and read our unencrypted emails with out going through the proper legal channels to get permission, but it don’t like it when someone throws it back into their face by doing the same exact thing the current president has been doing for the last few years; illegally reading my email and listening to my phone calls. Those who support him and think like him want a free slate to do as they will, without any oversight, just because they say its good for us. I am laugh at them, because our current president just let the telecoms off the hook for doing exactly what was done to Ms. Palin. Then, when they talk about her hacked email account, they sound so indignant, so self-righteous. Is it because it is insulting to think that someone who does not have their best interest at heart has been looking through their personal communications and looking for dirt on them, even thought they may not have done anything wrong? What’s that word to describe this behavior? It’s not totally accurate; but hypocrit is close enough for government work. I laugh at anyone who feels sorry for Ms. Palin having her yahoo account hacked because it was inevitable that this happen and she supports the president who demonstrated behavior that set the hypocritical example of “do as I say but not as I do.” As Nelson from the Simpson’s would say, “Ha Ha!”
