It looks like the alternator is going bad and will need to be replaced. Fun. Auto zone has the part listed for a bit over $300 but the repair place gave me an $830 quote to replace today. Its hard to find volvo alternators. leaning towards this one. Then, depending on the core charge asking the Joe, the guy recommend by Louis at O’reily in Lafayette. Order Details They were out of stock for the bosch model so we have to go with the rebuilt one and see how it does. Prices:
