Wrap It Up

Ideas For Cory:

  1. Take the spreadsheet data and make a visualization manually -> google docs spreadsheet can handle these simple graphs.
  2. Take the process into projectme.cloudfoundry.com and add a data controller that handles uploading a csv file.
  3. Validate the data in spreadsheet and turn it into a d3.js simple visualization.
  4. Send Cory a link to a demo and let him try to upload something that turns into a nice visualization.

Cory is interested in the following categories:

  • Call Volume
  • Count ACD
  • Abandons Calls
  • Abandon Percentage
  • Opened SR Count
  • Closed SR’s
  • Backlog
  • OOTO
  • OOTO
  • Total OOTO

These are all numbers by date. He is interested in day, week and month views and some of the categories have are better displayed as percentages.

Ideas on my drive to work: An iPhone game of tag. Everyone gets in. Someone randomly gets tagged IT. Keep location stats to review maps after the game. use volume level or other radar like sound mechanism (for both IT person and for Tagger). The games can be any lenght, default is five minutes. A year in balance: sleep 8-9 hours a day. Eat only before 6:30 P.M. Even more exercise.
