- Take 100 pictures, keep one and write one paragraph about it.
- Do mini yoga - start by sitting still for 1 min. Do 10 sun salutations. Then tree pose as long as you can. Finish by sitting still for a minute. Use timers if u need them.
- Learn about something that is contrary to what u believe.
- Go to a public place and wait there until you can help someone else with their difficulty.
- Draw the prettiest picture you can.
- Create a model of an advanced and complicated system. Make it simple enough to present to your parents or grandparents.
- Do something, free, simple and surprise the one you love most. The best affect is when they can discover it for themselves.
- Walk in the grass barefoot.
- Do 100 pushups and sit ups in one day. If u can already do this multiply by 5.
- Find a place to volunteer for a day, write 3 paragraphs (edited) about the most painful thing you heard about.
- Write down the simplest, least complicated thing that has great design. Make a model of it in sketchp or blender and render a 360 animation. Post it to a modelinganimation forum.
- Pick a subject from a college curriculum (biology,comp sci) that is part of the foundation. (Big o notation or the carbon or water cycle or dna)
- Pick a subject, not math and make “Flash cards for it.” - turn this into a simple web application
- Use profits from a successful craigslist sale to go to the movies - describe the Cinbarre experience Julie and I had on MLK day 2012 - it was like a date!
- Make a cleaning schedule for your home, your mind and your heart.
- Learn spanish with duolingo and help translate the web
- Watch a revenge movie (Kill BIll Vol 2). Write about the character after revenge and if their quest is justified or not. Bonus points - are there any current events or elections issues that tie in with this movie? How?
- Organize your library - we all have books laying around collection dust. By going through it you will: discover books you can sell, books you might not have read yet, books you want to read again. By organizing them you practice the higher order thought that comes with book categories and organization.
